The construction of detached towns and affordable housing has been carried out with the aim of absorbing the overflow of the metropolis population and settling low-income people in order to improve livability and quality of life. The purpose of this research is to evaluate the livability and population attraction of the detached town of Mehregan, considering its location within the Fringe ofMashhad city. This research is of an applied-descriptive type. Data collection is library-documentary and field. The statistical population of the research, residents of Mehregan town with 263 people were selected as the sample size.. Data analysis was performed using SPSS software. Chi-square, T tests and Exploratory factor analysis were used to test the hypotheses. The results show that considering the population and origin of residence of people (Mashhad city), Detached town of Mehregan has been successful in terms of population attraction. According to the results of the T-test, Detached town of Mehregan has the highest score in terms of social, environmental and physical indicators and the lowest score in terms of institutional and economic indicators. As a result, this area has favorable conditions in terms of the total average, and it can be concluded that it has been successful in livability. Using exploratory factor analysis, it was determined that the factors of quality of public services and infrastructure, security and safety, quality of environment and transportation, physical development, quality of social life, satisfaction with urban services and the environment have the greatest impact on the state of urban livability

Aging is a stage of life that how to spend it is of special importance. Aging in Iran, which is caused by the decrease in the birth rate and medical advances, is considered a new phenomenon. The current research seeks to evaluate the current situation of the livability of Babol city with the aim of prioritizing the main components of livability from the perspective of the elderly. The method of the current research is descriptive-analytical and based on first-hand data collected through documentary and survey methods using a questionnaire. The collected data were processed using SPSS and Smart Pls software. The current situation has been analyzed using the one-sample t-test and the relationships between dimensions and livability indices have been analyzed using structural equation modeling with the partial least squares (PLS) method. The general results indicate that in the current situation, all aspects of Babil city's livability were lower than the average. The results of the model also showed that all the components have a positive and significant effect on the current situation, but the biggest effect is the urban health component, which can be called as the driver of the livability of the city of Babol. The environmental component has had the least effect on the current situation of Babil city's livability.

The region of Sistan has long been a prosperous and productive area. In this geographical area, many cities have been established, but with the passage of time and changing conditions, they either disappeared or changed their functions. But since the beginning of the current century, the city of Zabol was formed by relying on government credits, and during this period, its population has constantly increased. In fact, due to the exogenous development of the city, environmental and regional problems have never stopped the growth of this city, and at the cost of the destruction of the surrounding environment, its life has continued with greater intensity. The current research has analyzed the livability of Zabol city with a descriptive and analytical method. The required data was collected through a researcher-made questionnaire from a sample of 300 experts. The data was analyzed using the evaluation matrix of effective and affected indicators and the mathematical model of sustainability and viability. The results showed that this city scored 0.4829 points in the environmental section and 0.2945 points in the economic and social section. Based on these points, the livability degree of this city is determined as 0.1884 and according to the existing standards, it is placed in the weak and very weak livability group. Therefore, if the necessary control and preventive policies are not applied, not only the residence and life in this city will be threatened, but also the surrounding environment will undergo more fundamental destruction.

Nowadays, livability reflects a robust discourse in urban development and urban design that has prevailed in the history of urban planning. Urban livability, on the one hand, testifies to the strong influence and attractiveness of the city, and on the other hand, intensifies urban communication and works by attracting more investment and human and cultural resources. Therefore, the viability of the city is closely related to a healthy city, ecological city and sustainable urban development. The present article seeks to create a practical understanding and knowledge for officials and managers of urban planning in the metropolis of Mashhad in the field of identifying and leveling key factors affecting urban viability. In terms of purpose, this study is applied, in terms of method, it is descriptive-analytical and in terms of data collection method, it is a combination of documentary-survey method. To conduct this research, after reviewing the research background and using the opinion of experts, 22 factors affecting viability in three dimensions were identified. Then, using interpretive structural modeling technique and using a questionnaire, the factors were classified into eight groups. Then, after determining the level of each factor and also considering the final availability matrix, the final model of the interpretive structure was drawn. The results showed that factors such as equitable distribution of infrastructure facilities and services, creating desirable and diverse transportation, meeting daily needs, creating employment and sustainable income, developing mixed land uses and urban diversity and creativity are among key and effective factors in relation to livability in Mashhad metropolis.

Urban viability is one of the basic foundations of sustainable urban development. The viability approach can be attributed to increased awareness of unstable urban life patterns, which in the long run reduces the potential of environmental resources. The term 'viability' refers to the degree to which a society is provided based on the needs and capacities of its members. Therefore, the main objective of the present study is to prioritize the main components of viability in three Kish Island resorts namely: Sadaf, Me'mar and Sahar. The research method is descriptive - analytical based on preliminary data. Data collection was done by documentary and survey methods using questionnaire. Collected data was processed using SPSS and Smart PLS software. Three methods of multivariate regression analysis, stepwise analysis and PLS path analysis were used to prioritize the components and to determine their contribution and role in the viability of the study area. Based on the results of the research, the main factors affecting the viability of the three Kish camps were prioritized based on the degree of their importance as follows: services and access, social, economic, physical and environmental components, respectively. One can improve the viability of the study area by planning to enhance and organize these components based on their degree of importance.

Since the main basis of human behavior is formed in accordance with his living environment, people would encounter sophisticated problems if they lack enough knowledge and strategies for their housing provision. Social factors are among the effective factors of livability of residential complexes; however the reduction of social interactions in such complexes is considered as a serious problem. The present study poses a main question: how does the architectural form influence the realization of social livability in residential complexes? Aseman Tabriz, Shahid Chamran and Imam residential complexes are chosen as case studies to answer this question. This study is a quantitative-qualitative research carried out by a descriptive-analytical method. The information is collected through documentary and field methods (i.e. observations, interviews and questionnaires). The sample of the present study included 300 people who were selected based on Cochran formula. Also, data analysis was completed using SPSS software version 20. The present paper studied and analyzed the relationships of effective components upon livability of residential complexes. The results suggest that the components of social capital and security have more impacts on the livability of residential complexes; and ultimately, the architectural body affects the social livability in residential complexes.

The purpose of this study was to evaluate quality of life and livability in rural central city of Shahriar in Tehran, Dimensions and indicators of quality of life and livability is common such that to assess the viability of quality of life as a common approach to the topic is used to assess viability. Research direction is based on the location-based quality of life.In addition to data collection, library studies, is a survey, and the Cochrane formula for determining the sample size of 362 patients and their families and Analysis Unit of the heads of families was determined by. Order to select the classification method group villages Venture Towns and classified using seven villages were selected randomly, and finally using the proportional contribution of each village turned out questionnaires. Then examine three dimensions of economic, social and environmental were studied in the villages. response to questions from the test T One-sample t and chi-square were used. The results indicate that the quality of life and livability in the study villages are located in low viability and quality of life and in all social (health, Solidarity and social participa-tion, cohesion and belonging, place, person, and social security), economic (employment, income, housing, transportation, infrastructure and educational facilities), and environ-mental ( Quality place in the absence of infection) assessments are down significantly, and no significant difference also in terms of livability and quality of life in villages in the study area there.
